Building a brighter future by supporting the education of underprivileged children one child at a time

Fundraising

  • Each year, EchoStars organises fundraising events to support the funding of the Bright Stars School construction and programs such as  the Sewing for Sustainability, and the soon-to-be medical centre in one of the poorest areas of Dhaka in Bangladesh.

Become a Sponsor to the BrightStars Schol Development Program

EchoStars has created the Bright Stars School Development Program, (BSSDP) for sponsors to support with an annual donation.  Becoming a sponsor to the program will ensure we have ongoing funding and can budget from year to year in the knowledge of a support base. By providing a school in this impoverished area of Dhaka, children who would otherwise have no access to education are now able to attend  school .

Sponsoring the BSSDP  gives individuals and businesses the opportunity to see exactly how their contribution is making  a huge difference to the lives of these children.  Each dollar has huge purchasing power here and that is why we take no administration costs from donations to ensure maximum return to our sponsors.

EchoStars ensures 100% of your donation goes to the school.

Full Sponsorship is $300.00 per annum..based on the cost to educate a student per year.

Half sponsorship is $150.00 per annum …less than 50cents per day but this makes a very valuable contribution.

Set your own amount  from as little as $2.00 you become a member of EchoStars.  WE PROMISE NOT TO BOTHER YOU WITH SPAM.  Donate now…its easy …CLICK here to Donate via paypal on this site.

    Accountability

100% of  all funds received by EchoStars go to SLUM; Society for Lowest Urban mass. All money is spent on the school construction and on the school programs. SLUM is the Bangladesh NGO that EchoStars is affiliated with. SLUM owns and administers  BrightStars School.  No donated money goes to cover EchoStars administration.  SLUM board and administration is also all volunteers and takes no money for administration from donated funds.
