    EchoStars needs Volunteers

    The next event for EchoStars begins this weekend with the Farnborough Autumn Open Garden and ends on Mothers day 13th May. Click here to view the newsletter. The garden will open for two weekends. We will have the sewing products on display for sale in the Historic homestead that is one of the earliest homes in the district. We are a small band of workers and would welcome anyone who wants to join us in our mission to change the lives of these children. They are born into the margin of life but with a little help so much hope and opportuntiy can be given to them.

    Farnborough Autmun 2012 Open Garden

    Having celebrated Bengali New Year last Saturday the school is back to regular work and so is EchoStars. One next event is to open the garden at Farnborough for the annual Autumn Celebration. The sewing for Sustainability Program will have products displayed in the house for sale.

    Bengali New Year – Shubha Nababorsho

    April 14th is marked the first day of the Bangla Year 1419 . “BOISHAKH” is the first month of the Bangla calendar. “POHELA BOISHAKH” means the first day of the Bangla month. . The origin of this festival is believed to be from the Hindu faith, but it is now celebrated as a National Holiday of great significance and festivities for all. BrightStars was ready to celebrate along with the rest of the Nation with a special 3 hour program especially catering to all the STARS.
