Access to a school can save children from child labour
EchoStars has set some major financial targets for 2011. These are:
- the completion of the construction of the Bright Stars School: $68,000
- the building of a boundary wall for flood protection: $15,000
- expansion of the Sewing for Sustainability Program from the initial pilot scheme. Costs to become fully operational: $12,400.
The Medical Program is currently being costed. We’ll keep you all posted about this program via our website news.
And lastly, a word of thanks to the many sponsors for your support that ensures this school will be built as a lasting testament to the universal human right of access to a basic education.
